I AM NANITA CHAN

Woman | Mother | Companion | Guide | Voice | Root | Muse | Jaguar

ROOTS

I was born where the Andes, the Orinoquía, and the Amazon intertwine. A territory full of ecosystems, memories, and ancestral knowledge.

I grew up in Colombia in the 1980s. Outside, there was conflict, violence, and crisis. Inside, sensitivity overflowed my body.

From a very young age, I learned that feeling too much was too much. Too intense, too emotional, too different. And that, in order to fit in, I had to keep quiet.

"We sacrifice our authenticity to maintain the bond."

— Gabor Maté

THE DETOUR

I studied and learned how to organize companies, but what I really wanted was to understand life.
Biology. Philosophy. Theater.

I soon began to feel suffocated... and decided to leave.

I lived in England, France, and Italy.

I did a random MBA to become something different.

And I worked for many years on climate change, connecting million-dollar projects in Latin America with European investors.

THE COLLAPSE

What began as a search for meaning ended up as a soulless job full of numbers, strategy, and a lot of pressure.

My whole body began to shake. I started to disconnect.
And the day after my wedding, I collapsed.

My voice cracked. My body collapsed. Burnout, anxiety, and depression set in.

And, with them, fears and insecurities.

"When the soul whispers,
the body screams."

'S ART AS A REFUGE

I took refuge in art and explored the connection between body and expression: from theater and writing to dance and improvisation workshops.

I performed at the Teatro Valle in Rome and at the Théâtre de Montmartre in Paris, under the direction of Danillo Nigrelli and Giovanni Savoia.

I also contributed to venues such as La Opéra Garnier and Atelier Les Mots, with publications in Octave Magazine.

“What is born from the body can become art, and what becomes art can heal.”

THE AWAKENING

I began to dream of becoming a mother, but my body was blocked.
Traditional medicine wasn't enough for me. I searched, I asked, I cried.
Until one day I stopped looking outside and started looking inside.

That's where the journey began.

Not only to understand my traumas and memories, but to deprogram them from my body.

I got certified in conscious parenting and began to understand.
To transform. To transcend.

I wrote a book: The Tao Te Ching for Children.

And I immersed myself in neuroscience, somatics, and trauma work. I trained with the best. With those who had understood before me: Peter Levine. Gabor Maté. Stephen Porges. Dan Siegel. Tara Brach.

I earned many degrees, but what I was really looking for was truth.
And I found it.

“There are things that cannot be understood with the mind.
They are understood through trembling, silence, connection.”

TODAY

TODAY

Life still had more trials in store for me: a complicated delivery, a difficult postpartum period, a misdiagnosed illness.

I found more truths in epigenetics and functional medicine, and integrated them into my work.

I am guiding today because I was there.

Because I know the coldness of the body alone, the knot in the stomach, the weariness of the soul.

And I accompany as I would have liked to be accompanied:
with presence, with compassion, with truth.

"If we can listen to the voice of the body, we can guide the healing process."

— Peter Levine

THE ALCHEMY OF PAS®

The PAS® Method was born from everything we have experienced, learned, and embodied.

A living alchemy between bodily wisdom, art, neuroscience, epigenetics, and reverence for the wild.

PAS® is not a technique that can be memorized.
It is a therapeutic language that is breathed, felt, and embodied.

It is about sustaining processes from the body.
Gently. Without reliving the trauma.

Through the PAS® Method, somatic intelligence, and epigenetics, I have accompanied hundreds of people from around the world in their processes of deep reconnection, regulation, and healing.

My training program, "Embody Your Genius Zone," has helped dozens of therapists transform the way they work, confidently sustain processes, and build a solid, profound, and abundant practice.

I have co-created and taught workshops alongside leading figures in trauma and ancestral wisdom such as María Macaya and Xochi Bucuru, weaving spaces where art, the body, and deep memory converge.

  • It's not just a career path: it's a loving response to the call of my soul.

I accompany guides and leaders like you to listen beyond the noise.

    Stop forcing and start feeling.
Build from a place of pause, not urgency.
Trust in the trembling as part of the journey.

I didn't come to show you the answer.

I came to remind you that your body already holds it.

  • I work with the history stored in your body, the patterns you learned to survive, and the memories you inherited without realizing it.

Because the body holds what the mind cannot express.
Because evolving is not about understanding, it is about embodying.
And because every profound transformation begins by slowing down, not speeding up.

I accompany you through listening, connection, and presence.
With science, but also with body.
With method, but also with soul.

  • Presence over impact.
    Pause over urgency.
    Truth over perfection.

    Belonging before performance.

I believe in communities that not only celebrate achievements, but also support raw, slow, real processes.
I believe in accompanying from the body and emotional memory, not from the mind.

And I believe that growing up isn't always about moving forward: sometimes it's about staying put without running away.

PARTNERSHIPS

Because regulating your body also means healing your connection to the earth.
Because there is no self-care without territory.
Because all real healing is also collective.

THAT IS WHY PART OF WHAT IS BORN HERE RETURNS TO THE ROOTS FROM WHICH IT CAME:

To the forest. To the tribe. To the science that cares. To the voices that protect life.

I actively collaborate with organizations that, like me, believe in a world built on connection, not on hurt.

They are hands and voices that guard the forest, the soul, and memory.

Who sow life where there was devastation.
Who restore song to the body, and breath to the Earth.

Because this isn't just about you. Or me.
It's about all of us.

This is an act of consistency.
A network that breathes life.
A circle that gives and gives back.

WEAVING ALLIANCES TO CARE FOR LIFE, THE BODY, AND THE EARTH:

THIS IS MY PATH.
